The original conception of “Last Exit Live” began in 2003 with the opening of Last Exit Bar & Grill which was tucked away in a small shopping center plaza in Tempe, AZ.
Even with it’s not so prime location the venue quickly established itself as a top spot to see local and national touring acts. The venue was sold by its original owners in early 2009 but quickly closed under the new ownership later that same year.Shortly after its closing original owner Brannon Kleinlein resurrected the name by opening a booking and promotions company in the name of Last Exit Live and actively continued putting on events & concerts around the Phoenix Metro area.In 2012 he made the decision that Last Exit Live would seek out a property to reestablish itself to its original form as a live music venue. And with that Last Exit Live was reborn as a venue in 2013 with a new location in the historic warehouse district of Downtown Phoenix.
